Responsibility: Managing the tax department

Mr Mungly is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants. He also holds a Master’s degree in South African and International Taxation and is a Master member of the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners.

Mr Mungly did his professional training in London with a large international accounting firm. He gained his professional experience with international accounting firms in Mauritius and South Africa. He joined the South Africa Revenue Service in 2003 and acquired top level experience in taxation.

In his capacity as tax director, Mr Mungly has the responsibility to manage and promote the taxation department of the firm.

His areas of competency are transfer pricing, application of tax treaties, tax planning and tax litigations.
